The review will also examine vulnerabilities in local shipping, port operations, and commercial contracting that may allow criminal organizations to exert influence beyond their established operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The directive follows the assassination of Grand Moff Tervan Byluir on Kessel and the subsequent discovery of preliminary evidence indicating possible links to Pyke Syndicate criminal operations active along the Kessel trade routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe people and lawful institutions of the Kessel Sector are entitled to security, reliable commerce, and the protection of Imperial law,\u201d Grand Moff Straka said in a statement released by his office. \u201cThis assessment will establish the facts, support responsible local authorities, and ensure that criminal influence finds no safe refuge within the sector.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officials emphasized that the assessment is intended to reinforce, rather than displace, Little Kessel\u2019s lawful civil government and local institutions. No broader security measures have yet been announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first assessment teams are expected to begin work on Little Kessel in the coming days.
