Several rural routes became impassable after surface flooding and mudslides, while local transit service was suspended in affected districts to allow engineers to inspect bridges and shoreline infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officials reported that residents from the most vulnerable areas have been moved to temporary accommodation in nearby towns.
