NABOO — Emergency crews and local security forces have evacuated several low-lying communities following severe rainfall across Naboo’s lake country, where rising waters damaged roads, power relays, and small civilian docking facilities.

The storms developed rapidly over the region and produced sustained rainfall beyond seasonal expectations. Several rural routes became impassable after surface flooding and mudslides, while local transit service was suspended in affected districts to allow engineers to inspect bridges and shoreline infrastructure.

Officials reported that residents from the most vulnerable areas have been moved to temporary accommodation in nearby towns. Relief personnel have established supply points for food, medical needs, and emergency power equipment, with priority given to elderly residents, families with young children, and isolated agricultural communities.

“The immediate danger has passed in most affected areas, but this remains an active emergency response,” a local official said. “Residents should not return to damaged property until structural and utility inspections are complete.”

No fatalities have been reported. A number of minor injuries were treated by local medical services, primarily resulting from storm debris and evacuation-related accidents.

Water levels are expected to decline gradually over the coming days. Authorities have cautioned that further rainfall could still complicate recovery operations and asked residents to monitor official advisories.
