TION CLUSTER — Imperial Navy and Imperial Starfighter Corps personnel have concluded a regional search-and-rescue exercise focused on civilian distress response and emergency coordination across sparsely traveled routes.

The exercise tested long-range communications, medical evacuation procedures, the recovery of disabled vessels, and the coordination required when a civilian emergency occurs far from a major naval installation. Local authorities participated in planning and post-exercise assessment.

Starfighter Corps pilots conducted reconnaissance and relay operations, while Navy crews practiced boarding, emergency stabilization, and the transfer of simulated casualties from disabled civilian craft.

Military officials emphasized that the exercise was routine and defensive in purpose. Its objective was to improve readiness during natural disasters, shipping accidents, mechanical failures, and other emergencies affecting civilian traffic.

“Search-and-rescue readiness is not an abstract duty,” an Imperial Navy spokesperson said. “It is the practical ability to answer when a citizen sends a distress call.”

The exercise concluded without incident. Lessons identified during the operation will be incorporated into future regional readiness planning.

No change to normal civilian travel procedures has been announced.
