Leadership

The ISB is governed by the Commission of Operations, also known as ISB High Command or ISB Central Command. This senior leadership body, based at the ISB Central Office on Coruscant, is responsible for strategic direction, policy development, inter-branch coordination, and overall command of Bureau operations galaxy-wide.

Leadership consists of the Central Commander, who serves as Director of the ISB and holds ultimate authority over the Bureau while reporting directly to COMPNOR leadership, and the Deputy Director, who assists with daily operations. Supporting them are the six Branch Chiefs who head Surveillance, Investigations, Internal Affairs, Interrogation, Re-Education, and Enforcement. Together, these officers form the core of ISB Central Command and provide specialized expertise to guide all major decisions and policies.
