Second Assault Legion in Brief

The Second Assault Legion is, quite simply, comprised of the second-best troops of the Imperial Army. Ferocious fighters, these men are skilled, and are within a hair's breadth of the First Legion in terms of efficiency, loyalty, and sheer courage. They are a fearsome fighting force, brought in to support the First Legion in large scale operations or to operate as a second expeditionary force while the 1AL is busy elsewhere. Just like the First Legion, their ranks, however, are extremely select and officers find it to be as much a honour to be assigned here as to the First Legion. An exemplary trooper or officer will often find himself assigned to the Second Assault Legion to test his mettle before being reassigned to the First Assault Legion.
