Intelligence

Intelligence has brought together a vast range of experts from all walks of life and professions in order to help refine data gathered by other bureaus. People from universities, corporations, governments, military officials and even Rebel defectors can all be found in this branch. They use the data gathered by others to predict the future activities of enemies of the Empire. They also analyse previous events and try to link them with possible events in the future. Their findings are sent to the Ubiqtorate who use them to set goals, identify new targets, prepare agents and alert the military, government and COMPNOR to possible enemy action.

External Communications (ExComm)

ExComm is used for emergency communication with intelligence cells out in the field. Generally, it takes time for a transmission to travel from a system cell to the nearest Imperial Intelligence base. If time is of the essence, ExComm members will be used to speed up the process and get information where it needs to be quicker than usual. This is, however, a rather small branch compared to others.

Sedition

This branch specialises in knowledge and predictions of enemies of the New Order. They also draw up precautions against them, and help to design methods of stopping them.

Crisis

Not a permanent branch, it is created when there is a situation which urgently needs to be dealt with. It has a special ExComm attachment, and is also in direct contact with the Sector Moff or even the Emperor if the situation is desperate enough. The Crisis branch focuses on one single event, and gathers intelligence almost exclusively on that event. It is given special support from the military and government should it require it.
