Ministry of Energy
The Ministry of Energy oversees the production, regulation, and distribution of all energy resources across the Galactic Empire. It manages power generation facilities, fuel extraction operations, and the development of new energy technologies to support both civilian needs and Imperial military requirements.
Reorganized under the New Order, the Ministry ensures a reliable and secure energy supply throughout Imperial space. It prioritizes allocation for critical infrastructure, shipyards, and fleet operations while enforcing efficiency standards and suppressing wasteful or unregulated energy practices.
Imperial Energy Systems
A primary subordinate agency is Imperial Energy Systems, which specializes in the design and manufacture of large-scale portable power generators and other energy equipment. Originally established to support disaster relief and logistical operations, the agency now plays a vital role in powering remote outposts, military installations, and major construction projects.
Department of Resources
The Department of Resources is responsible for the oversight and regulation of all raw material extraction and mining operations throughout the Empire. It ensures the steady supply of fuels, minerals, and other critical resources needed for energy production and industrial output. The Department directly supervises the Imperial Mining Corporation and maintains regulatory authority over the Mining Guild.
The Imperial Mining Corporation operates as a state-controlled entity responsible for large-scale mining operations on Imperial worlds and asteroids, focusing on efficiency and security. The Mining Guild, while still semi-autonomous, is strictly regulated to prevent resource hoarding and to align guild activities with Imperial economic and military priorities.
The Ministry works closely with the Ministries of War and Transportation to coordinate energy resources for naval fleets and hyperspace routes. Through centralized control and resource management, it maintains the industrial and military superiority of the Empire by guaranteeing uninterrupted power and raw materials across vast distances.
The Minister of Energy reports directly to the Ruling Council and holds authority over energy policy, resource allocation, infrastructure development, and oversight of all energy-related agencies, including Imperial Energy Systems and the Department of Resources.
