Military Parade sponsored by the Ministry of War The Ministry of War is the central civilian authority responsible for the administrative, logistical, and financial oversight of the Galactic Empire’s military forces. It coordinates the needs of the Imperial Army and Navy, manages defense budgeting, and ensures the efficient allocation of resources to maintain military readiness across the galaxy.

Established under the New Order, the Ministry replaced the fragmented military administration of the late Republic. It handles procurement of weapons, vehicles, and starships, oversees supply chains and shipyards, and addresses the broader strategic requirements of the Imperial Armed Forces without direct command over field operations.

The Ministry works closely with the Imperial High Command, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Transportation to guarantee that the military receives uninterrupted support. It also conducts audits and efficiency reviews to eliminate waste and enforce discipline within military-related industries and support services.

Through centralized planning and rigorous oversight, the Ministry of War provides the administrative backbone that sustains the Empire’s military superiority and galactic security.

The Minister of War reports directly to the Ruling Council and holds authority over all military administration, logistics, budgeting, and resource allocation for the Imperial Armed Forces.
